Dimsdale House, Hertford

Dimsdale House | Hertford

The Dimsdale Arms public house had been formerly converted to student accommodation with many of the large and well proportioned rooms having been sub-divided to form single bedrooms with communal facilities.

Kirby Cove Architects undertook a conversion and refurbishment project to recreate many of the fine spaces within the Grade II listed building, through forming 9 new apartments over two floor levels. Work was undertaken in close liaison with the local planning and conservation officers.

A stable block to the rear will shortly house Hertford’s first live/work unit.
